CHOP was awarded $38.9M over five years from the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health to scale personalized base and prime editing therapies. The award builds on baby KJ's successful treatment and funds clinical trials for urea cycle disorders, organic acidemias, blood clotting disorders, and bleeding disorders through the THRIVE program.
