ChargePoint launches Express Solo, a 600 kW standalone fast charger and its first DC charger for Europe

ChargePointChargePoint Network and Express DC

Express Solo is the first product on ChargePoint's new Express architecture: a single cabinet that can give one car 600 kW or share that power across up to four with an extra dispenser. ChargePoint says it packs about 40% more power per unit of space than rival DC chargers, so it fits small urban sites. It is the first system co-developed with Eaton and accepts solar and battery power directly.

  • Up to 600 kW to one car; charges 2 cars, or 4 with an added dispenser.
  • About 40% higher power density than other DC chargers, per ChargePoint.
  • First ChargePoint DC charger sold in both North America and Europe.
  • Omni Port serves both NACS and CCS cars.
