Chai Discovery announced $30M seed funding led by Thrive Capital, OpenAI Ventures, and Dimension, with participation from angel investors including Greg Brockman and Kevin Hartz. The company released Chai-1, an open-source structure prediction model, and announced plans to build generative models for molecular design.
