CATL's Qiji unveils standard '75#' truck battery and plans 300 swap stations by end of 2025
Qiji Energy, CATL's swap unit, presented a standard battery pack called 75# for heavy electric trucks and said it would open 300 swap stations in China by the end of 2025. More than 30 truck models from over a dozen makers already supported it.
- Each station holds 24 packs.
- CATL claims about €7,500 saved per 100,000 km versus a diesel truck.
