CATL launches Qiji, a chassis battery-swap system for heavy trucks

CATL unveiled Qiji, a one-stop battery-swap system for heavy trucks made of swap battery blocks, swap stations and a cloud platform. Unlike the common rear-mounted packs, the blocks sit in the chassis, which lowers the centre of gravity and allows more battery per truck.
