ASM InternationalALD and epitaxy for gate-all-around chips

At its 2025 Investor Day ASM targeted revenue above €5.7B by 2030, growing at least 12% a year against 6% for the wafer-equipment market. It said the first gate-all-around generation lifted its served market by US$400M per 100,000 wafers a month versus 3 nm FinFET, and 1.4 nm would add US$450-500M more.

  • Single-wafer ALD market forecast to grow from US$3.0B (2024) to US$5.1-6.1B (2030).
  • DRAM's move to 4F2 cells expected to add US$400-450M to ASM's served market.
  • Showcased molybdenum ALD, channel epi and selective ALD.
  • Warned H2 2025 revenue would be 5-10% below H1 on weaker leading-edge logic spending.
