Anduril unveils Anvil-M, a warhead-carrying version of its Anvil counter-drone interceptor
Anduril showed Anvil-M, a variant of its Anvil interceptor drone that detonates a munition near its target instead of ramming it. The company said combat feedback and customer input shaped it, to defeat faster Group 1 and Group 2 drones more reliably.
- The original Anvil knocks drones down by ramming them; Anvil-M adds a fire-control module and a warhead.
- Ground-launched from Anduril's Launch Box and directed by its Lattice command software.
- Groups 1 and 2 are the smallest US drone classes by speed, altitude and weight.
