AMD outlines Instinct MI500 roadmap for 2027 at Advancing AI conference keynote

At AMD Advancing AI 2026 in San Francisco, CEO Lisa Su outlined the next-generation roadmap for AI accelerators, including the Instinct MI500 series planned for 2027 on CDNA 6 architecture with HBM4E memory, followed by MI600 in 2028. The products aim to compete against NVIDIA's Vera Rubin launching later in 2026.
