Alice & Bob unveils Helium, its first system, which encodes a logical qubit in 18 cat qubits

Alice & Bob launched Helium, its first complete quantum computer for research partners. It encodes one error-protected logical qubit in 18 cat qubits, circuits that naturally suppress one major error type. The system draws 40 kW and plugs into standard supercomputer job schedulers.
