Aalo Atomics' Aalo-X test reactor reaches first criticality at Idaho National Laboratory
Aalo Atomics achieved first criticality with Aalo-X, a sodium thermal fast-reactor test unit at Idaho National Laboratory, under the US Department of Energy Reactor Pilot Program. The reactor was fabricated in Austin and transported to INL, validating Aalo's factory manufacturing and transport approach for the commercial Aalo-1 design.
