Eight front-end slots take microwave or low-frequency modules, each with its own pulse processor, mixed as a given qubit technology requires.
Pulses are computed on the fly and measurement results feed straight back into control flow, so the next pulse can depend on the last result.
Modules across several units are programmed together as one large controller, which is how the system scales toward 1,000-plus qubits.
Over NVQLink, one CUDA-Q program sends quantum steps to the qubits and classical steps to GPUs and CPUs, round trip about a microsecond.
