Alcor is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating the largest cryonics facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. It cryopreserves human and animal remains in liquid nitrogen. Founded in 1972, Alcor serves 1,500 members, preserves 250+ patients, and pursues organ vitrification and antifreeze-protein research.
