Thin SiO2 layer and doped polysilicon allow electrons through, block holes.

N-type silicon

Starting material with lower defects

N-type wafers (doped with phosphorus) have fewer metallic impurities than P-type, so they degrade more slowly and reach higher voltages.

Bifacial design

Rear side captures reflected light

Rear surface captures ground/roof-reflected light, adding 85% of front output.
