Drilling

The project will drill two wells deep into hot rock near the existing geothermal field.

Fracturing

Hydraulic fracturing creates a network

Wells are fracked to create an artificial reservoir of connected fractures in the rock.

Circulation

Water circulates for heat extraction

Water pumped down one well circulates through the fractured network and emerges hot to drive turbines.
