Technical approach
Ions that move around the chip
Ions shuttle between memory, gate and readout zones, so any qubit can pair with any other.
Record gate fidelities
Identical atoms and laser gates give two-qubit fidelity above 99.9%, so error correction needs fewer qubits.
Measure mid-program
Ions can be measured and reset mid-program, with results fed back live. This makes error correction possible.
Full stack
Makes the TKET compiler, the Guppy language and the Nexus platform. Uses NVIDIA GPUs to decode errors live.
