Shoot down long-range attack drones with an interceptor costing a few thousand dollars instead of a missile costing hundreds of thousands, and build them by the tens of thousands.
In mass use since Nov 2025; faster JetKiller version for jet Shaheds entering production
Updated 20 Jul 2026Checked 11 Oct0 updates this week
Ukraine's air-defence network tracks incoming Shaheds and directs interceptor crews to launch toward them.
A Shahed cruises near 185 km/h; P1-SUN at 310 km/h can run it down, and JetKiller at 370 km/h targets jet versions.
JetKiller adds onboard target recognition that locks on in the last seconds, where a human pilot reacts too slowly.
A 500 g charge detonates next to the Shahed; the drone is lost, but costs a small fraction of its target.
