Edge cases are infinitely variedAn accident on the highway, a police stop, a road closure or an unusual load requires human judgment. Encoding all possibilities is not feasible; the AI must learn by example.

A neural network maps sensor inputs to steering, throttle and brake with no intermediate steps.

Safety

Redundant controls and monitoring

Multiple compute units and a monitoring system watch for failures; if the AI fails to respond, a braking system can stop the truck safely.

Routing

Hub-to-hub planning avoids complexity

Routes are constrained to highways between known facilities, with carefully chosen transfer points. The AI does not navigate city streets or new environments.
