Zimmer Biomet acquires Monogram Technologies for $177M to add autonomous surgical robots

Zimmer Biomet agreed to acquire Israeli-founded Monogram Technologies for $177 million in upfront payments plus up to $12.37 per share in contingent value rights tied to product, regulatory and revenue milestones through 2030. Monogram's semi-autonomous and fully autonomous orthopedic surgical robots will be integrated into the ROSA platform.
