X-Bow finished installing its production AMSP system at Luling and began inert trials before making live propellant for existing contracts. The plant starts at about 1 million pounds of propellant a year, with a plan to reach 3 million pounds within 12 to 24 months.

  • About $40M of X-Bow capital plus co-investment from the US Air Force and DARPA.
  • X-Bow equates 3M lb a year to roughly 3,000–3,800 Standard Missile motors or 30,000–50,000 tactical motors.
  • Programs include the Army's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon, Navy Conventional Prompt Strike, and Mk 72 and Mk 104 Standard Missile motors.
