USTC unveils Zuchongzhi 3.0, 105-qubit superconducting processor surpassing Google Sycamore

Researchers from USTC announced Zuchongzhi 3.0, a 105-qubit superconducting processor using frequency-tunable transmons, topological coupling and flip-chip bonding. On random-circuit-sampling benchmarks, it surpassed Google's Sycamore by six orders of magnitude, setting the highest performance bar for superconducting quantum systems.
