It is the Navy's first warship fitted for hypersonic missiles; sister ship Lyndon B. Johnson is now being converted.

  • Zumwalt arrived at Pascagoula in August 2023 and was undocked in December 2024.
  • USS Michael Monsoor will get CPS in a later yard period.
  • The missile itself has not yet flown from the ship.
