Upside Foods received a USDA Grant of Inspection, the final regulatory step enabling U.S. sales of its cultivated chicken after FDA review and USDA label approval. The product, over 99% cultivated cells, was set to debut at chef Dominique Crenn's Bar Crenn in San Francisco; GOOD Meat received the same approval and planned a debut at a José Andrés restaurant in Washington, D.C.
