US Department of Defense awards Sciaky contract for titanium components in F-35 program
The U.S. Department of Defense contracted Sciaky through Lockheed Martin to develop electron beam additive manufacturing processes for F-35 titanium structural components. Over the aircraft program's life, a single part can save more than $100 million in production and fuel costs.
