Ukrainian pilot downs two Shaheds with Sting interceptors while 500 km from the launch site

A Bulava unit pilot shot down two Shahed-type drones with Sting interceptors while sitting 500 km from where they were launched, using Wild Hornets' Hornet Vision Ctrl remote-control system. Wild Hornets called it a world first.

• Hornet Vision Ctrl was unveiled in late March 2026 after months of front-line testing.
• A crew's coverage is about 20 km today; the plan is up to 100 km.
• One pilot can serve launch points far from where they sit.
