Salzgitter orders 100 MW alkaline electrolyzer from Andritz for SALCOS hydrogen production

Salzgitter ordered a 100 MW alkaline water electrolysis plant from Austrian technology group Andritz for the SALCOS program. The high-pressure alkaline electrolyzer uses HydrogenPro's 5.5 MW cell stacks and will produce approximately 9,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year.
