Roscosmos sets the second Soyuz-5 test for late 2027 and the third for 2028

Roscosmos deputy head Dmitry Baranov said Soyuz-5 has three test flights planned: the first succeeded on April 30, the second is due in the second half of 2027 and the third in 2028.

• The second flight had earlier been planned for 2026.
• The first test's mock payload came down in the planned Pacific zone.
• Soyuz-5 is rated for about 17 t to low orbit on cleaner propellants.
