REGENT Viceroy seaglider completes world's first human-crewed wing-in-ground-effect flight
Over Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island, the all-electric Viceroy took its first crewed flight with 12 passengers, traveling 1,956 feet at 33 feet altitude in 30 seconds. This marks the first crewed flight of any wing-in-ground-effect vessel.
