Qualcomm and BMW debut Snapdragon Ride Pilot automated driving in new BMW iX3
Qualcomm and BMW unveiled Snapdragon Ride Pilot, a jointly developed automated-driving system, at IAA Mobility 2025. The system debuted in the BMW iX3, the first vehicle from BMW's Neue Klasse platform, and supports Level 2+ capabilities including contextual lane changes, highway driving and AI-powered parking. Development involved 1,400+ engineers across five countries over three years.
