Intuitive placed 468 da Vinci surgical robots in the second quarter of 2026, up from 395 a year earlier, and 246 of them were the newest da Vinci 5. The installed base reached 11,710 systems (+12%), and revenue rose 19% to $2.89 billion. Most of Intuitive's money comes from instruments used in each operation, so procedure growth is the figure that matters most.
