NovaAndino Litio submitted an environmental impact assessment for a $3 billion project to deploy new lithium extraction technologies and expand capacity from 210,000 to 300,000 tonnes per year by 2030. Final approval is expected in 2029; the project would sustain production levels through 2060 as the operation transitions to deeper brine reserves and new separation methods.
