Noah Medical launches Galaxy II software with dual-mode imaging
Galaxy II is a software upgrade that lets doctors switch at any point between Galaxy's built-in tomosynthesis and full cone-beam CT, picking low dose or maximum detail per case. It also reduces image artifacts around the target, corrects for the tool bending tissue, and improves robotic control and reach.
- Dual-mode imaging: high-definition tomosynthesis or cone-beam CT in the same procedure.
- Noah says tomosynthesis uses up to 10x less radiation than cone-beam CT for most cases.
- MATCH II study: 96.7% diagnostic yield under strict definitions; Cleveland Clinic saw 90% in 100 routine patients.
- New Lesion Focus mode cuts artifacts; tool-tissue divergence correction runs in real time.
