Nikon acquires SLM Solutions for €622 million ($675 million)

Nikon Corporation completed acquisition of SLM Solutions Group AG for €622 million (about $675 million), paying €20 per share. Nikon completed the squeeze-out of minority shareholders in 2023, making SLM a wholly owned subsidiary focused on metal additive manufacturing for aerospace and defense.
