NASA awards Astrolab $220 million to develop Crewed Lunar Vehicle for Artemis astronauts

NASA selected Astrolab (Hawthorne, California) as one of two contractors to develop next-generation crewed lunar rovers. The $220 million contract funds the CLV-1, derived from Astrolab's proven FLEX architecture, for supporting astronaut missions on the lunar surface. The vehicle will also support robotic missions between crewed operations and can be operated remotely from Earth.
