Nanoscope begins rolling BLA submission to FDA for MCO-010 optogenetic vision therapy

Nanoscope Therapeutics/MCO-010 (sonpiretigene isteparvovec)

Nanoscope announced the initiation of a rolling BLA submission to the FDA for MCO-010, a one-time gene therapy to treat retinitis pigmentosa. The submission was based on positive results from the RESTORE phase 2b/3 trial showing sustained vision gain and an acceptable safety profile.
