Microsoft signs 12-year agreement to purchase 2.85 million soil carbon credits from Indigo

Microsoft committed to purchasing 2.85 million soil carbon removal credits from Indigo over 12 years, valued at $171–$228 million. The credits are generated through regenerative agriculture practices including cover cropping, reduced tillage and crop rotation. This represents Microsoft's third purchase agreement with Indigo.
