Medtronic released 12-month clinical data for Inceptiv showing sustained pain relief and high patient preference for closed-loop features. Mean low-back pain reduction reached 67%; 88% of patients preferred closed-loop on; 93% reported less overstimulation with closed-loop technology.

• 67% mean reduction in low-back pain scores at 12 months; 82% of patients achieved 50% or greater pain reduction.
• 93% reported reduced overstimulation with closed-loop; 88% preferred closed-loop on; 91% had no uncomfortable stimulation during daily activities.
• 50% of patients reduced or discontinued opioid pain medication; patients adjusted amplitude only once every 30 days on median.
