Lynk and SES target mid-2027 service as the Omnispace merger awaits regulatory approval

At SATShow Week, SES CEO Adel Al-Saleh and Lynk CEO Ramu Potarazu said the merged company planned to deliver connectivity in mid-2027. SES provides the ground network routing traffic between low orbit, medium orbit and the ground. Al-Saleh said he doubted consumers would pay $50–60 a month for satellite-to-phone service and expects it to become a cheaper add-on.
