Lockheed Martin expands Vectis production to five aircraft

Skunk Works announced expansion of the Vectis program, authorizing four additional aircraft beyond the prototype to accelerate development and validate production methods. Total fleet grows to five aircraft with first flight on track for end of 2027.

• Expansion announced at Air & Space Forces Association's Air, Space & Cyber Conference in National Harbor.
• Additional vehicles intended to accelerate development and position the platform for future Collaborative Combat Aircraft requirements.
• Company-funded program with no customer contract; all five aircraft internally funded.
