Loam Bio launches CarbonBuilder and SecondCrop carbon program in US market
Loam Bio announced the US market launch of CarbonBuilder, a fungal seed inoculant enhancing stable soil carbon storage. Applied as seed coating, it enables crops to sequester additional carbon through endophytic fungi that produce melanin, a stable form of carbon that binds in soil. SecondCrop lets farmers measure and monetize stored carbon, retaining credit ownership. Initial launch targeted soybean farmers in the Corn Belt.
