LIFE habitat passes full-scale burst test with 27% safety margin

Sierra Space completed full-scale burst testing of the LIFE flexible habitat module, demonstrating the fabric-based design can withstand 77 psi, nearly 27% above NASA's recommended safety level of 60.8 psi. The test at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center validated the module's restraint layer made of Vectran composite straps.
