LandSpace founded in Beijing to develop commercial methane-fueled reusable rockets

Founder Zhang Changwu established LandSpace Technology Corporation in June 2015, as China's 2014 policy change opened the space industry to private capital. The company set out to build low-cost, reusable methane-fueled rockets to compete with emerging commercial launch providers globally.
