John Deere acquires Blue River Technology for about $305M

Deere signed a deal on September 6, 2017 to buy Sunnyvale-based Blue River Technology for $305 million. Blue River used computer vision and machine learning to spray herbicide only on individual weeds, the basis of Deere's later See & Spray products.
