Joby signs a six-year exclusive agreement with Dubai's RTA to operate air taxis

On 11 February 2024 Joby signed a definitive agreement with Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority to launch air-taxi service in the emirate by early 2026. The deal gives Joby the exclusive right to operate air taxis in Dubai for six years, with Skyports designing and operating four initial vertiports.

• Joby aircraft carries one pilot and four passengers at speeds up to 200 mph
• Manhattan-to-JFK equivalent journey from Dubai International to Palm Jumeirah expected to take ~10 minutes versus 45 by car
