Joby acquires Blade Air Mobility's passenger business

Joby acquired Blade Air Mobility's urban air mobility passenger business for up to $125 million, gaining Blade's operations, terminals, customer base and routes across New York and Southern Europe. The deal closed on 29 August 2025. Blade's medical division, now Strata Critical Medical, separated and will partner with Joby as its preferred eVTOL provider.
