JetZero announced a credit facility of up to $100 million to fund its blended-wing Z4 program. The loan will cover technology development, working capital and its North Carolina manufacturing and test sites, while the full-scale demonstrator is being built.
- The facility is a senior secured term loan led by Pinegrove Credit Partners, backed by Brookfield and HRTG Partners, with Silicon Valley Bank also participating.
- The full-scale Jet1 demonstrator is under construction at Scaled Composites in Mojave, California, and was 40% complete as of June 2026.
- The first flight is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.
- The article notes the Air Force committed $235 million to the demonstrator program in 2023 and has not selected the Z4 as an operational aircraft.
