JAXAHTV-X

Using its new H-SSOD deployer, HTV-X1 released the Ten-Koh2 satellite built by Nihon University. JAXA then moved on to the Mt. FUJI experiment, which measures the ship's orientation by bouncing lasers from ground stations worldwide off reflectors on it. The DELIGHT antenna and SDX solar-cell tests followed before reentry.

  • First of four technology demonstrations after leaving the ISS.
  • JAXA's Tsukuba laser ranging station and stations worldwide took part in Mt. FUJI.
  • After the tests, HTV-X1 reentered and burned up with the station's rubbish.
