Fractile leaves stealth with a $15M seed round to build a new kind of AI inference chip

London startup Fractile, founded in 2022, came out of stealth with $15M in seed funding to design a chip and system for running AI models that departs from today's GPUs, plus the software to run frontier workloads.

• $15M seed led by Kindred Capital, the NATO Innovation Fund and Oxford Science Enterprises.
• Inovia Capital and Cocoa also took part.
• Funds a new chip and system design plus its software stack.
