First conventional T 264 haul trucks delivered to Fortescue; battery retrofit planned before 2030

Liebherr/T 264 Autonomous Battery-Electric Haul Truck

Liebherr delivered the first T 264 haul trucks to Fortescue's Eliwana mine in Western Australia's Pilbara region. The initial trucks are diesel-powered and will be progressively retrofitted with Fortescue Zero's battery-electric propulsion system during the 2020s.
