DOE awards ABTC $144 million grant for second lithium-ion battery recycling facility

The US Department of Energy awarded American Battery Technology a $144 million grant to construct a second commercial-scale battery recycling facility in the Southeast US with 100,000 tonnes per year processing capacity, five times the throughput of the first facility.
