Cluster 13 launches on a SpaceX rideshare, adding three more radio-locating satellites

HawkEye 360Hawk RF constellation

HawkEye 360's Cluster 13, three 30 kg satellites built by Canada's Space Flight Laboratory, launched on 12 January 2026. Like earlier clusters, the satellites fly in formation so they can pinpoint radio transmitters for maritime monitoring, emergency response and security.

  • Three satellites on SFL's 30 kg DEFIANT platform, identical to Cluster 12.
  • Formation flying is what makes accurate radio geolocation possible.
  • Cluster 14 followed on 30 March 2026.
